Division Information

Posgraduate, Research and Innovation Division (BSPI) was established in September 2007 in which previously it was known as the Research, Innovation and Internationalization Division . BSPI was responsible to manage the affairs of the graduates as well as the scope of existing research in the Faculty in line with the declaration of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM ) as a Research University in November 2006 .

BSPI divided into two main sections; postgraduate and research . Major tasks performed by postgraduate section are relevant to enrolment of postgraduate students in the Faculty; postgraduate such schedules of the seminar , timetables and manage postgraduate student exam scores .

The research section was divided into administrative and research laboratories. The main task is to assist Faculty in achiving Myra goals/aims. 
 
Among the responsibilities are :
1.Manage the Faculty research grant .
2.Appoint RA and monitor RA / GRA / GRF at the Faculty
3.Encourage and monitor Faculty journal publications
4.Encourage and monitor the registration of patents / product research
5.Encourage and managing Faculty participation in exhibitions or competitions ( national / international )
6.Coordinate the exhibition or any workshop / seminar / colloquium / Imitating research faculty
7.Prepare annual report of the Faculty
8.Updating research's brochures and flyers once a year
9.Updating documents for Research Universities'audit
10.Observe Faculty's research laboratories
