FOOD PROCESSING WORKSHOP FOR FOOD ENTREPRENEURS

SYNOPSIS

The workshop aims to equip participants with fundamental knowledge of food processing technologies and food safety and quality assurance. Current regulatory issues faced by the food industry will also be discussed in-depth during the workshop. In addition, participants will be exposed to the latest trends in food product development, and present-day consumer behavior in terms of food preferences. Finally, actual demonstration and hands-on activities on various instruments related to food safety and quality analyses will be carried out.

To equip participants with fundamental knowledge on food processing, food safety and quality related topics. Expose participants to the latest issues and trends in food product development and to guide participants with the correct techniques in performing food safety and quality analyses.
