Serdang, 15 August 2025 – A total of 27 attendees from Faculty of Food Science and Technology (19 attendees), Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (3 attendees), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (2 attendees), Halal Products Research Institute (1 attendee), Ministry of Health (1 attendee) and Food Innovate Pte. Ltd., Singapore (1 attendee), have attended one-hour sharing session via Zoom application.


Dr. Nurul Hawa Ahmad has completed a postdoctoral training on modeling growth and survival kinetics of foodborne pathogens in meat and egg products. She was supervised by DR. Lihan Huang. Dr. Nurul Hawa was funded by USDA via the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) fellowship. Throughout the postdoctoral training, Dr. Hawa has published four articles as listed below:
