COLLABORATION DISCUSSION BETWEEN THE FACULTY OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, UPM AND FOOD INDUSTRY ASIA (FIA)

Serdang, 8 April 2026 – The Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) held a collaborative discussion session with Food Industry Asia (FIA) at the Jalamas Meeting Room, FSTM.

The discussion focused on the implementation of joint programs, the organization of industrial talks, and efforts to strengthen industry networking to enhance the exposure and employability of graduates in the field of food science and technology.

The FSTM delegation was led by a line-up of lecturers and researchers consisting of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rashidah Sukor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nur Hanani Zainal Abedin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Zunairah Wan Ibadullah, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hanan Hasan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norhayati Hussain, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismail Fitry Mohammad Rashedi, Dr. Nuzul Noorahya Jambari, and Dr. Maryam Adilah Zainal Arifin. Also present as representatives of FIA were Puan Shahrila Ishak and Mr. Leong Han Yin.
