Serdang, 17 December 2025 – The Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM) was honored to receive a courtesy call and official visit from Syarikat Faiza Sdn. Bhd. on Wednesday, 17 December 2025. This visit serves as a strategic initiative to strengthen the collaborative network between the faculty and the industry, while facilitating the exchange of insights and best practices in the field of food processing technology.

The primary objective of this visit was to gain exposure to the latest food processing methods and technologies that could potentially be adopted by Syarikat Faiza Sdn. Bhd. for the development and production of new products. During the session, the delegation was given a guided tour of the Extruder Laboratory facilities, where a detailed briefing on the equipment and processes was conducted by Mr. Hamezan bin Muhammad @ Ahmad.

The visit was attended by two representatives from Syarikat Faiza Sdn. Bhd., led by Dr. Salwa Abu Bakar, the Senior General Manager. Her presence, along with the delegation, reflects the company's high level of commitment to ensuring that every new product developed is of high quality, safe, innovative, and market-driven. Furthermore, it emphasizes a focus on sustainability and compliance with international standards, aligning with the company's goal to enhance competitiveness and strengthen its reputation on a global scale.
