Serdang, 22 April 2025 – The Department of Food Service and Management (JPKM), Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), received a courtesy visit today from the National Food Safety Centre (NCFS), Ministry of Health Malaysia. This marks NCFS's first visit to UPM, establishing a strategic relationship between the academic institution and the government agency in the field of food safety.

The NCFS delegation was led by YBrs. Ts. Hj. Mohd Khairuddin bin Mohd Talib, Director of the National Food Safety Centre, accompanied by two senior officers, Mr. Rosnizam bin Ismail and Ms. Farah Azura binti Khalil. Their arrival was welcomed by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Anis Shobirin Meor Hussin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ungku Fatimah Ungku Zainal Abidin, and Dr. Mohd Rohaizat Abdul Wahab.
