Indonesia, 28 October 2025 – Dr. Nurul Hawa Ahmad has been appointed as a visiting lecturer at Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia, starting from 22 September to 24 November 2025.

Dr. Hawa is responsible for delivering an online lecture on microbiological spoilage and safety of fish and fish products. The 1.5 h lecture was initiated with an opening remark by UB lecturer, Heder Djamaludin. A total of 36 third- and forth-year students from fishery product technology program have joined the lecture. At the end of the lecture, several research topics have been identified for future collaborations. UB also requires a joint publication in this program.
