Tuesday, 11 June 2024 - A total of 40 Bachelor of Science Food Service Management students participated in the Study Tour program to the Vitagen Factory in Petaling Jaya on 11 June 2024. Students were given exposure to the process of producing cultured milk drinks and the use of good bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus paracasei. Drinking cultured milk and consuming good bacteria is very important in ensuring gut health. Students are also given the opportunity to visit the factory area and see for themselves the production and packaging of products.
