The training will be assessed based on the course learning outcome outlined by the faculty. Student, Visiting Lecturer and Industry Supervisor involved in managing industry training need to understand about the philosophy, the objectives of the training as well as the desired learning outcomes. Undergoing industrial training is mandatory for every student as part of the requirements to be fulfilled in the program of study at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology. Bachelor of Science (Food Service Management) will undergo industry training in semester 6, Bachelor of Science (Food Studies) and Bachelor of Food Science and Technology will undergo industry training in semester 8. The duration of industrial training is 14 weeks.
Students are advised to refer to the study scheme and activity scheduled by Industry Training Coordinator by each department.
