28 MARCH - The Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM) received an academic visit by the Prince of Songkla University from Thailand. The program aims to expose participants to differences in experience and culture, while creating international networks and their own life prospects.

A total of 19 delegates from the 'Prince of Songkla University' consisting of students and officials arrived at the Jalamas Meeting Room, FSTM, at two in the afternoon to listen to a briefing delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Khaizura Mahmud @ Ab Rashid regarding the Faculty and the facilities provided.

They were also taken to visit several laboratories in the faculty. Among them are the Supercritical Fluid Center, the Pilot Plant for Juice and Puree, the Food Microbiology Laboratory, and the Food Biochemistry Laboratory.

Hopefully this collaboration can be kept it up so that students can broaden their experience at the international level.
