RETORT TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP

Tuesday, March 5, 2024 – The Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Science and Food Technology organized a Retort Technology Workshop. This course was held at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM), UPM Serdang. This course lasts for one day from 10 AM to 5 PM.

This course also covers theoretical and practical classes regarding the use of retorts on food and beverage products. This Retort Technology Workshop is delivered by an expert from the Department of Food Technology, namely Dr. Nor Afizah Mustapha, Dr. Ezzat Mohamad Azman, Mr. Mohamad Kidin, Mr. Ahmad Safwan Setaffa and Mr. Syafiq Rabbani Mohd Hashim.

Hopefully the knowledge and opportunities learned from this Retort Technology Workshop can be applied and used for food products produced by the participants in attendance.
