Sunday, 3 November 2024 - Convocation is a happy day for all graduates. As everyone knows, when the end of the year comes, IPTAs will alternately hold graduation days at their respective universities. Recently, Universiti Putra Malaysia also held a graduation day. The UPM Convocation Ceremony Main Committee has set the date for the 48th UPM Convocation Ceremony on 2 and 3 November 2024 for the first session at the Sri Kenyalang Hall, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus, Sarawak, while on 30 November 2024 until 6 December 2024 for the second session at the Great Hall of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
This year, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology produced 140 graduates consisting of 57 students from the Bachelor of Food Science and Technology program, 27 students from the Bachelor of Science in Food Studies with Honours, 39 students from the Bachelor of Food Management and Services, and 17 students from the Bachelor of Science in Food Manufacturing Operations. For everyone's information, we are pleased to inform you that this year, the Bachelor of Science in Food Manufacturing Operations is the first batch to graduate because this program was just established in 2020. In addition, the professional certificate is important to increase the marketability of graduates, thus helping them get a job. In today's challenging world, graduates themselves are encouraged to have additional skills and create their own potential for brighter future opportunities. In addition, congratulations are also extended to the parents and families of the graduates, the joy of achieving in this ivory tower is also shared.
