CERTIFIED HALAL EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME

The Certified Halal Executive Program (CHEP) which will last for 7 days from 9 to 18 August 2021 is a program inspired by WAZAN UPM with the objective to drive the excellence of asnaf in UPM. The program organized by the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, UPM in collaboration with HDC Malaysia was created specifically for third year students of the Bachelor of Food Science and Technology (BSTM) and Bachelor of Science in Food Studies (BSPMK). CHEP is crafted to address the specific requirements of the Halal Industry according to the Halal Professional Board (HPB) and JAKIM requirements. It also provides the know-how of Halal Manual and Halal Record Administration, mainly for the organization's Internal Halal Committee (IHC).
