UPM Offered Free Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Training for Quality Management System

The Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), in collaboration with FOSTECH and WAZAN UPM, offered a unique opportunity for fourth-year students (Batch 21/22) of BSTM, BSPMK, BSPPM, and third-year students of BSOPM. The Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) training in Quality Management System was designed to provide insights into ISO 9001:2015 interpretation and auditing techniques.

The exclusive training took place on December 9, 10, and 12, 2024, at BKS 2, Food 5, UPM. A total of 25 students were selected for the program, with priority given to B40 Muslim students. The program was completely free of charge and included breakfast and lunch for participants.

The CIA certification, awarded by Platinum Shauffmantz Veritas (PSV) International, was granted to successful participants, offering valuable credentials for future career prospects.
