NEW STUDENTS REGISTRATION FOR 2019/2020 SESSION

3 SEPT - Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM) welcomed a total of 139 new undergraduate students, which include international students for the academic session of 2019/2020 from three programs, i.e. Bacelor of Food Science and Technology, Bachelor of Science (Food Studies), and Bachelor of Science (Food Service Management). The Faculty Briefing began with the registration and the students assembled in Food Technology Lecture Hall 1.

Welcome speech by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Nazamid Saari.

Academic Briefing by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sharifah Kharidah Syed Muhammad, Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs Division).

The event then continued with the Program Briefing by the particular Head of Department.

Course Registration with the guidance of committee members of FSTM Student Association (FOSTECH).

Next was the 'Primed for Success' Program with the Industry Panel to provide students with career information.

The Academic Advisors also participated in the friendly-chat session with the students.

The program ended with a Lab Safety briefing by the Director of the Office of Occupational Safety and Health, Dr. Mohd Rafee Baharudin.
