L'APPRENTI SERVICES FSTM

Background

Lapprenti is the sole brand of FSTM that pioneers the culinary field of food and food service under the Food Management and Service Department. L'apprenti began to grow when the Food Service Complex was established in 2006 and fully operational in 2009. The location of the Food Service Complex is in the Food 6 Lebuh Silikon building near the UPM Banquet Hall. The Lapprenti brand was also filed for trademark on April 25, 2012.

Objective

Create a teaching complex that emphasizes every aspect in the management and food service industry so that students can gain experience through practical training carried out in a teaching laboratory that has facilities comparable to those found in the industry.
Providing the latest infrastructural facilities for students who are able to increase the competitiveness of students in order to meet the needs of today's food service and management industry.
Creating student training facilities that include comprehensive management and food service activities throughout the study period at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Produce students who are competitive and able to apply the knowledge learned during theoretical lectures and practical training by using equipment that is comparable to what is available in the industry.
