Event Summary
The FOSTUC 2024 programme is an initiative by FSTM to emphasis the Experiential Learning and Competency-Based Education Landscape (EXCEL) frameworks, which is REAL Research Infused Experiential Learning (REAL) in Food Science and Technology programme outcomes. It is with great pleasure to have the partnership from the Faculty of Fisheries and Food Science, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), and the Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) to join us in this initiative. In the research colloquium, we gather final year students of Bachelor of Food Science and Technology (BSTM), FSTM, UPM, Bachelor of Food Science (Food Technology), Faculty of Fisheries and Food Science, UMT, and Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition; Bachelor of Food Technology and Bioprocessing, Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition, UMS. This event creates a platform for the students to share their thought-provoking and hypothesis-proving outputs from their research projects. Furthermore, this program will also strengthen the academic relationship between both faculties and universities, in an effort to produce holistic, patriotism and resilient graduates.
