History of PG Clubs
FoSTePS is a student-led organization established in June 2024 under the Faculty of Food Science and Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). It serves as a bridge between lecturers, faculty staff, and students to enhance communication and cooperation within the faculty community.
FoSTePs aims to organize various beneficial activities and projects that positively impact the members of the faculty, such as developing students' professional skills, supporting student welfare, and strengthening interpersonal bonds among students. The association actively collaborates with faculty administration to achieve its goals and create a dynamic and sustainable academic and social environment.
All postgraduateuate students of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology are automatically members of FoSTePs. The leadership committee of FoSTePs is elected annually during the Annual General Meeting. The first resident of FoSTePs is Ts Wan Nadirah Wan Chik, a candidate of PhD in Food Management. Since then, student-led organizations like FoSTePS have played an integral role in uniting the faculty’s academic community.
