PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AMONG FINAL YEAR STUDENTS OF BSTM AND BSPMK OF FACULTY OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, UPM

Assalamualaikum and greetings to everyone, 

 

FOSTECH committee led by Arkan Binatara Pratama from EXCO Erudite has organized a three-day Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) System Course, coached by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maimunah Sanny and in collaboration with SIRIM STS Sdn. Bhd on 1 - 3 March 2021. The course has obtained full sponsorship from WAZAN, UPM.  The training program was conducted online using the Microsoft Teams platform for a total of 50 final year students of Bachelor of Food Science and Technology and Bachelor of Science (Food Studies) by a group of qualified trainers from SIRIM.

 

 

The training has strengthened participants’ understanding of HACCP's principles and applications and exposed the participants to the roles and responsibilities of internal auditors in ensuring food safety in food manufacturing. As participants, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Arkan and his team members (i.e., Anis Syuhada, Yohan Candra, Auni Nazirah, and Nureen Sabrina) for making this training possible. We believe this training will help us during our job career in the future. We are highly honored to have such outstanding juniors and lecturers on board for the training. Even though it was conducted online, this program might not be successful without their support and effort.
