Bangi, December 5, 2025 – The Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM) was pleased to organize the Faculty Award Presentation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 Session. This prestigious event took place on December 5, 2025 (Friday) at the Bangi Resort Hotel, Bandar Baru Bangi, commencing at 2:45 p.m.

This esteemed ceremony was organized with the main objective of recognizing the academic excellence and holistic achievements of the faculty's students throughout the 2024/2025 academic session. A total of sixteen (16) prestigious awards were presented to fourteen (14) recipients who had consistently displayed excellent performance across various categories.

The organization of this ceremony also received strategic financial support from eight (8) main sponsoring entities. These sponsors included Dewina Award, Seasonings Specialities Award, Fonterra, Brahims Holdings, TDC, Motohiro, as well as personal sponsorships from two (2) FSTM lecturers. This significant support symbolizes the strong synergy between the faculty, industry partners, and the academic community, thus strengthening the shared commitment to supporting talent development and student educational excellence.

Of particular note, Tan Chun Kiat and Nur Aqilah binti Mohamad Arif recorded impressive achievements by being awarded two (2) main prizes each. This double success is clear evidence of their dedication, diligence, and continuous effort in reaching the pinnacle of academic performance.

The Faculty of Food Science and Technology extends its highest appreciation to all esteemed sponsors, faculty members, and parties involved directly or indirectly in making this recognition ceremony a success. It is hoped that the recognition given will serve as a catalyst to ignite the students' spirit to continue striving diligently and achieve greater excellence in the future.
