VISIT BY THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR FOOD SAFETY (NCFS), MINISTRY OF HEALTH MALAYSIA TO THE FACULTY OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, UPM

Thursday, 30 April 2024 - Visit by officials of the National Center for Food Safety (NCFS), Food Safety and Quality Program, Ministry of Health Malaysia to FSTM UPM Thank you to @NCFS. This visit aims to see the existing food processing facilities at UPM for the purpose of collaboration. It is an extension of the strategic collaboration discussion between NCFS and @FSTM_UPM @Food Tech UPM which was held on 22 April 2024 at the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Putrajaya. This visit is important to detail the details of the strategic collaboration that can be carried out with FSTM in order to further strengthen the services that will be implemented at NCFS later.

For this discussion, he was joined by Dean of FSTM, Prof Dr Anis Shobirin Meor Hussin. The tour starts with the food processing and preservation research laboratory, Meat Product Processing Pilot Plant, Juice and Puree Processing Pilot Plant, Food Processing Laboratory and ends with the Supercritical Fluid Center (SFC). The lecturers involved are PM Dr Noranizan Mohd Adzahan (@Nora_Adzahan), Dr Rashidah Sukor and Dr Ismail Fitry Mohammad Rashedi.
